Davide Rossato is a Venetian improviser percussionist who approaches music since the age of 5. He completed his academic studies in the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice.
He started the professional career performing in prestigious jazz and contemporary music festivals such as the Hamburg “The art of improvisation” together with the “Ensemble Collettivo Crisis” quartet; with which he will record the album “Live in Hamburg” published for the record label “Setola di maiale” and the O.O.O.H festival in London.
He collaborates with some of the biggest names in Italian jazz including Massimo Falascone, Filippo Vignato, Davide Rinella, Crisis ensemble, Nino Locatelli, Simone Quatrana, Bruno Romani. In 2020 he is included in the prestigious column “The young Italian improvisation” edited by the journalist
Ettore Garzia of Percorsi Musicali, distinguishing as one of the most young talents of the Italian avant-garde music scene.
