The Trio is formed by saxophonist Pietro Mirabassi, double bassist Francesco Bordignon and drummer Fabio De Angelis, all involved in major events and competitions, in jazz and not, on the national territory. 

The three met inside the Conservatory of Vicenza and in 2019 they won the National Arts Award for the Jazz category, winning the Prize dedicated on that occasion to Pino Daniele.

The trio's repertoire is dedicated to Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, and is composed of arrangements and original pieces inspired by the two Afro-American musicians.
