

Federico Milone
Federico Milone is an Italian saxophonist, composer, and educator based in Brussels. He studied in Salerno, Ghent, Brussels, and at Berklee, and has collaborated with drummer Tullio De Piscopo since 2015. Winner of the Massimo Urbani Jazz Competition and Tomorrow’s Jazz Prize, he has performed at major festivals like Umbria Jazz and the Montréal Jazz Festival. His music blends Southern Italian roots with Northern European influence. In 2024, he released Deux Moi, included in Jazzit's 100 Greatest Jazz Albums of the year. He has led his quartet across Europe and Canada and represented Italian jazz abroad. Milone has recorded four albums as leader/co-leader and appeared on many others. He’s also been a trainee assistant at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. Active both live and in education, he is a rising voice in the European jazz scene.
