

Viktoria Kirilova
A double bass player and composer, Victoria Kirilova is active on the Viennese and European music scene. Her music blends contemporary jazz and chamber influences with the poetry and groove of traditional Bulgarian rhythms. In her new album Roots&Skies (Da Vinci Records, 2025), she explores the balance between jazz, chamber music and folklore, between tradition and innovation.
A graduate of MUK Vienna and the Milan Conservatory, Victoria has received awards such as the Start-Scholarship (Austrian Ministry of Culture), the Fidelio Competition, and Italy’s Premio delle Arti.
Victoria has performed at major festivals including Jazz al Parque (Bogotà), Medejazz( Medellin) Bergamo Jazz, Firenze Jazz Festival, Amman Jazz Festival, and A to Jazz (Sofia), and at venues like BOZAR (Brussels), Musikverein and Konzerthaus (Vienna). Her work has been featured on Ö1, RAI, and BNR, and she has taken part in projects by the Goethe-Institut, MuFA, and the European initiative I AM ABROAD.
