Quartetto Obliquo is a string quartet that explores the sounds of contemporary music in its many different dimensions: from the minimalism of P. Glass and T. Riley, to popular compositions and jazz influences. Founded in 2019 by musicians who want to explore new styles and rhythms, the ensemble has performed all over northern Italy and started projects with composers from the Veneto region. In 2019 the quartet met the prestigious Kronos Quartet. Spazio Gemma, a artisan's studio in Padua, hosts the quartet during the rehearsal sessions.
