Sticky Brain is a quintet from Vicenza active from 2014. Their entirely original fusion/funk repertoire draws inspiration from electric-era Herbie Hancock, Snarky Puppy, Weather Report.

Strong melodies and explicit rhythm alternate with more introspective situations where the band’s interplay comes out. The result is multi-coloured, much like 70s progressive music.

In April 2019 they released their debut album, “Looking Forward”. For the artwork, they have collaborated with Lanfranco Frigeri, a pioneer surrealist painter from Mantova.

They are currently finishing their new album’s production with label Bus Music Production, through which they met Bobby Sparks (Snarky Puppy, George Benson, Lauren Hill, St. Vincent) for artistic guide.
