The title encourages us to reflect on the profound meaning of the word 'silence', suggesting its value perceived in the absence of verbality. The shooting approach, simple and authentic, uses documentary filmmaking as a medium of expression. It is developed through black and white shots of the Museum, Villa Guiccioli park, in which it is located, the museum collection and naturalistic elements. Against the almost stunning silence of the spaces, crossed by soft noises such as crunching of leaves, singing of cicadas or murmurs of visitors, it is not necessary to use strictly verbal language to create a storytelling. In this environment, the museum becomes a place of contemplation and silence can open doors to an invisible feeling that the word perhaps prevents. To the human voice, the arduous mission of recalling the tragedy of the war, thanks to the free interpretation of Vicenza partisan women testimonies.
